If you looking for a easy daily planner template then this tutorial is for you. Follow along and you can create your printable in minutes.
For this tutotial we will be using PowerPoint. Let’s get started.
Page Size and Design
Open up a new PowerPoint side and click on layout and choose blank. Next click on the design tab, then click on slide size then custom size.
Change the width to 8.45, the height to 11 in then click on ok. Then click on ensure fit.

For the design you can choose whichever design you would like. I downloaded a free image and cropped it to get my design.

Inserting Sections
For the biggest section, go to the insert tab, click on shapes and choose the rounded rectangle shape. For the color choose white background and for the shape outline choose black.
For this tutorial the height of the box is 7.66 and width is 4.92. I chose to draw the rounded corners in to only show a little bit of rounded edge.

Hold shift + Ctrl together and drag the curser to the right to copy the shape you just made. Change the height to 3.32 and the width to 2.73.

Copy the same way from the previous insert and drag below. Change the height to 3.18 and the width to 2.73. Do the same for the next section and change the height to 2.88 and the width to 2.73.
For the last section, copy the previous section and drag to the right lining up at the righ with the large section. Change the height to 1.94.
Play around with the alignment of the sections if necessary until all sections are lined up to your preference. Make sure to leave a gap at the top for the heading.

Editing the Daily Planner Printable
Click the insert tab and click on text box. Draw a text box in the top space and type in the heading. This font I used is Mistral and the size is 60.
Draw another text box in the top right hand corner. Type in Date. The font is Calibri (body) and size 18. Select the line shape and draw a line directly below the date text. Change to color to black.

Draw a text box in any of the sections using Calibri (body) font and size 18. Copy the text to all sections. Align all text to where you want it.

For the water tracker I downloaded a image and changed the color. Insert the image and rezise it really small. Copy the image and drag until you have 8 glasses of water in a row.

For the large section insert the line shape. Choose the length you would like. Copy the line and drag to the bottom leaving gap. Continue copying the same way until there are 16 lines or more if you would like.
Insert a text box at the top of the first line bringing it almost flush against the line. Align it to the left until you happy with it. Copy and drag the text to all 16 lines. Edit the text to the times you would like.

For the sections on the right, insert the line shape and increase the size to fit into the section. Copy the lines and add as many as you want. Do this for all 3 Sections.
There you have it. A daily planner that can be completed in less than 15 minutes. You can change the design, swop the sections around and even decrease or increase the amount of sections you want.
